Day Two Of 10,00 Steps A Day And We're On A Roll

How did you do yesterday? I ended up with 12,327 steps.
Let's talk a little bit about how you can sneak some extra steps in there each day. Of course going for a 30 minute walk each day helps, but that's not the only thing you can do. Here are a few other ideas
  • Park your car a little further away whether your grocery shopping or going to work.
  • Chase your kids around the house or the yard
  • Take the steps instead of the elevator
  • Walk around the house while talking on the phone, brushing your teeth etc.
  • Take a stroll through your yard to relax after work
  • Get your spouse or a friend to go for a walk with you a few times a week.
  • If you feel like flopping on the couch after work, turn on some upbeat music and start putting a few things up that are laying around the house. Take the toys to the kids room, papers out to the recycle bin etc.
